Where can I find training and whom do I contact?

It all starts by getting in touch with the staff that services your area. We're happy to bring training to our clients, but whether this is possible depends on the type of training you are searching for, and where you are located. If you get in touch with the staff that services your area, they will be able to answer this question more specifically.

How did TrainND emerge?

Originally, the “Workforce Training Initiative” was established by the state legislature in 1999 to ensure the vitality of ND businesses. Businesses needed access to training programs that could equip them to go to the next level and attain optimal performance from employees. This training program needed to span every industry and be able to facilitate any type of training for any type of skills. Hello TrainND!

Does the state pay for the training?

Although that would be nice, but not feasible. Employers pay for the training they attend/request. We have worked within a wide variety of budgets, but yes, there does need to be a budget.

Why does TrainND exist?

Short and simple. To give all businesses located in ND access to relevant training, so they can compete on a local, national, and international level.

What is TrainND’s experience?

As of 2008 we have provided a variety of training services to over 1,400 businesses in nearly every industry throughout the state. Weather you are a large corporation or small business, we can help.
